Network Map of Israel Railways

Israel has constructed a dignified passenger rail network which consists of 1.138 kilometres of track. Main passenger flow travels along the Mediterranean seacoast, but multiple peripheral branches help to connect the densely populated coastal plain of Israel with most remote areas.

According to 2018 data, the railway operator carried about 68 million passengers, which is a very promising indicator for such a small country. But the purchase of modern rolling stock and the construction of high-quality infrastructure from the very first steps in the creation of a transport system shows the serious intentions of this player in the market of passenger transportation services.
